ABOUT
Kellye Raymond Browner

Over the last decade, I’ve led over 500 focus groups and helped clients win over $9 billion in verdicts and settlements.

As a jury consultant with a law background, I have a unique perspective on what it takes to prepare for a trial. While it’s easy to get caught up in the legal arguments, evidence, and strategy, many attorneys overlook how those facts will land with the people who are deciding the case: the jurors. My job is to help my clients help the jury make decisions based on what matters most.

And I love seeing the jury get it right.

There’s no greater feeling than knowing that my guidance helped to shape a case that led to the right verdict.

“We hire Kellye on every case. You should too.”

Chris Hamilton, Trial Lawyer

While most jury consultants come from a psychology background, my law degree sets me apart. I know what lawyers need to present to win, and I’m able to anticipate potential roadblocks in a case from the perspective of a jury.

During law school, I found myself drawn to the power of storytelling in the courtroom. I soon realized how crucial jury consultants are to helping lawyers understand how jurors think.

After law school, I was hired by one of the most well-known jury consultants in the country, diving headfirst into a career path I never saw coming.

Since then, I’ve worked with top trial lawyers across the country to craft stories that connect emotionally and logically with jurors.

One of the most overlooked aspects of trial advocacy is presentation—how a lawyer delivers their argument can be just as important as the argument itself. I help lawyers refine their tone, presence, and delivery so that they can persuade without sounding rehearsed or detached.

Whether they’re speaking to jurors with different life experiences or perspectives, my job is to ensure they communicate in a way that resonates—without sounding out of touch.

From preparing for jury selection to providing insight on how to improve a witness’s testimony, I guide my clients in making decisions that resonate not just with legal minds, but with real people.

A trial lawyer’s job is not just to tell the story, but to actively persuade – asking jurors to do something for them. It’s about more than knowing the law; it’s about delivering it in a way that moves people.

When I’m not consulting, I’m always looking for new ways to understand people, whether that’s through travel, reading, or spending time outdoors. Riding horses has taught me patience and adaptability, skills that translate into my work helping lawyers refine their presence in the courtroom. Meeting people from different backgrounds, whether on a trip or in everyday life, reminds me that jurors come from all walks of life. The more perspectives I encounter, the better I can help my clients communicate in a way that resonates — clearly, persuasively, and without condescension.

Because being a jury consultant is about more than strategy and planning. It’s about understanding people and how to communicate with them effectively.

In the end, my goal is to ensure that the jury can connect with the story being told, feel confident in understanding the facts, and be empowered to deliver the right decision.
